On Thursday 22 January, Matt Cheal, chef/proprietor of Cheal's restaurant, in Solihull, hosted the BCFs first Club Lunch of the new year.
Cheal’s restaurant recently moved from Henley-in-Arden to the picturesque village of Knowle, in a building that was once the local bank on the High Street.
The lunch was a great turnout, with with many travelling miles to attend. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch including Hand Dived Orkney Scallops and Highland Red Deer.
The new restaurant and its décor are very luxurious and on entering, radiate a warm welcome to what is a beautifully designed restaurant and bar with no expense spared in its finish.
We'd like to extend our huge thanks to BCF member, Matt and his team, who all looked after us exceptionally well with a truly outstanding lunch, coupled with very professional and relaxed service.
A special thanks to Aubrey Allen, Classic Fine Foods, Kingfisher Midlands, Frazier’s Wine Merchants and Wine Poole for their support towards the lunch.
