BCF Chefs’ Club Lunch: Lumiere, Cheltenham Spa



BCF Chefs’ Club Lunch this month at the Michelin-starred, 4 AA Rosette Lumiere, in Cheltenham Spa, was yet another sell out. at the .


Owned and operated by Jon and Helen Howe, Lumiere, also has a Michelin Green Star Initiative award and was voted Restaurant of Year at the AA Restaurant Awards.


Restaurant Manager Matthew Dickinson and a small professional team hosted an outstanding lunch with impeccable and friendly service was enjoyed by all.

 

The menu included ingredients sourced from the family’s 15-acre smallholding, from microgreens to lavender honey.


Their aim is to reduce food miles and become more self sufficient growing interesting, ancient & heritage varieties which are not normally commercially available.

The menu was complimented with excellent wines Spioenkop ‘Queen Mathatisi’ 2018 Elgin South Africa, Massaya Classic Rose 2021 Beqqa Valley Lebanon and Finca Bacara ‘Time Waits for No One’ Monastrell 2021 Jumilla Spain.
